Questions
What is the Koryu momentum board?
A daily table of the 100 most liquid crypto assets with seven published measurements per asset: price and 24-hour change, 30-day and 90-day momentum, trend state from the 50- and 200-day moving averages, 14-day ATR as a percent of price, distance from the 52-week high, and 30-day median dollar volume.
Is the board live?
Yes. The board refreshes every 4 hours from public market data and every daily snapshot is attested. This page shows the most recent snapshot; if the pipeline ever falls behind, a plain 'data delayed' note says so rather than implying freshness.
Are these trading signals?
No. The board is measurement: it describes the market's current state with recomputable arithmetic. It recommends nothing, predicts nothing, and carries no buy or sell instruction. Decisions are yours.
Can I recompute the board myself?
Yes, that is the point. Every column's formula is published in the monitor methodology, the universe rules are published, and the inputs are public daily market data, so a stranger can rebuild the whole table and check ours against theirs.
Which assets qualify for the board?
The most liquid top-100 after published exclusions: stablecoins, wrapped and pegged representations, staked derivatives, and leveraged tokens are removed, and newly listed assets need a minimum trading history. The full rules are in the universe-rules article.
Does the strategy buy the coins at the top of the board?
No, and the two lists routinely have nothing in common. The board ranks 100 coins by 30-day momentum because that is a useful way to read the whole market. Strategy v1.0 ranks only the 15 majors, by 60-day momentum, after excluding the most crowded perpetual-funding longs and anything under a $5 million median daily volume floor, and it holds five of them. The picks panel shows that selection so the board's sort is never mistaken for it.
Why does the picks panel sometimes show nothing at all?
Because the strategy is in cash, which is its most common state. The rule holds nothing unless bitcoin is above its 50-day average with the 20-day stacked above the 50-day; when that gate is down there are no picks to show, and showing a would-be five anyway would invite trading against the one rule that limits the drawdown. The regime page shows the gate itself.
Why are there two boards, a long and a short?
The long board is the 100-coin momentum monitor the long strategy fishes from. The short board is the v2.0 candidate's bear book: when bitcoin is below its 50-day average the strategy shorts a handful of weak coins chosen by the bear engine over the full liquid universe, so its names often sit off the top-100 entirely. Each board has its own page, /board and /board/short, linked by the toggle above the table; a banner on top names the regime. The short book is logged in the shadow record and never traded.
