Glossary · 用語
Every number we publish,
defined in one sentence.
These are the canonical definitions behind the board and the regime dial: descriptive statistics with fixed formulas, recomputable by anyone from public daily bars. If a page and this glossary ever disagree, that is a bug. The full formulas live in the monitor methodology.
The board’s seven measurements
Price and 24-hour change
#Last daily close and its percent change over the prior close.
30-day momentum
#Percent price change over the trailing 30 calendar days.
90-day momentum
#Percent price change over the trailing 90 calendar days.
Trend state
#UPTREND / NEUTRAL / DOWNTREND from the 50- and 200-day moving averages.
ATR (14-day) percent
#Wilder 14-day average true range as a percent of price.
Distance from 52-week high
#Percent below the trailing one-year high.
30-day median dollar volume
#Median daily quote-currency turnover over 30 days.
The regime dial’s three states
The published dial (the attested, hand-recomputable instrument on /regime), not the v2.0 candidate running in the shadow.
BTC's trend stack is true (the close is above the 50-day average and the 20-day average is above the 50-day) and board breadth is at or above 40%.
The in-between state: BTC's stack holds but board breadth sits between 25% and 40%, so neither the risk-on nor the risk-off condition is met.
BTC's trend stack is false, or board breadth is below 25%.
Definitions are versioned with the site and change only with a methodology note. Measurement, not advice. Decisions are yours.
