Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data Koryu handles when you use the Site. The short version: almost none, by design.
1. No accounts, no cookies, no trackers
The Site has no user accounts, sets no cookies of its own, and runs no analytics, advertising pixels, or fingerprinting of any kind. Reading the Site does not create a profile of you anywhere we control. The one exception to "we collect nothing" is the optional launch-notification form described in section 4.
2. What is processed anyway
Like any website, serving pages involves standard request metadata: your IP address, user agent, and the URLs you request pass through our hosting infrastructure and our network provider (Cloudflare), which processes them to route and protect traffic. Ordinary, short-lived server logs may record this metadata for operations and abuse prevention. We do not use it to identify or profile readers.
3. What we never do
We do not sell data, share reader data with advertisers, run third-party ad networks, or enrich reader data with outside sources. There is nothing to sell: see section 1.
4. The launch-notification form
The board and dial pages offer an optional form: leave an email address, get one email when the live board ships. If you use it, we store exactly that address with a timestamp, in a managed database operated for us by Supabase, for exactly that purpose: one announcement email. No newsletter, no sharing, no enrichment. Ask at the address below and it is deleted. Any future feature that touches personal data (for example a validated product tier with accounts) updates this policy before it goes live, with the change dated above.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Since we hold none about readers, there is usually nothing to act on, but you can always ask: [email protected], the Shishin Research house inbox, which also serves Koryu until the Koryu domain inbox is live.
